The Forbes World’s Billionaires list revealed on June 18 that the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, tops the list. Bezos’ net worth is USD 141.9 billion. Bezos made over USD 5 billion since the beginning of the month i.e. June 1.
Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have taken the second and third places on the list respectively. Bill Gates, the principal founder of Microsoft Corporation, was earlier the richest man in the world. His current net worth is now USD 92.9 billion. Warren Buffet is a successful investor whose net worth is USD 82.2 billion.
Jeff Bezos saw growth not only in his net worth but also his company. Amazon has now been declared the second most valuable company in the world after Apple. Also, in a list of America’s largest companies of 2018, Amazon was given the eighth position. Amazon’s stock value has been steadily rising with time too.
